    Description

Vintage West Bend 5 quart Country Kettle Dutch Oven / Slow Cooker in Avocado Green.  First of all, this unit works - heats up quickly!  Overall this unit is in very good condition with only minor signs of use and wear, such as a few small scuff marks to the enamelware coating on the pot and the lid and a hint of residue around a couple of the legs.  The non-stick coating inside the pot is in very good condition with no major scratches and only a few heat marks from the heating element underneath the pot.  There is a very small dent on the rim of the lid - please see the last photo.  This unit came with a deep-fryer basket when I found it - I'm not sure that it's intended to be a deep fryer (the heat controller unit goes up to about 400 degrees Fahrenheit) but I'm throwing it in just the same; the fry basket has both a handle attached and feet/brackets to hold it on the side of the pot to allow any oil to drain.  The West Bend catalog / model number is 13366 and there is what appears to be a date stamp of "6 73" below the catalog number (see photo 9).
We're not professional sellers/dealers.  We just enjoying going to thrift stores, garage and estate sales, flea markets, etc., and rescuing cute vintage stuff.  Now that we've rescued a few too many things, it's time to start sharing some of our finds with you.  We clean up our finds as best we can without damaging them.  If you have any questions about an item, please ask and we'll do our best to answer them.  If there are any issues with your item when you receive it, please contact us first before contacting eBay or leaving negative/neutral feedback to see if we can make it right.
We use the calculated shipping method (unless otherwise specified) so eBay gives an estimate of the cost from our zip code in Southern California to yours.
