Vintage Bell and Howard 8 mm projector 253R Like New. Great Working Condition. Had no issues with it whatsoever.
This Bell and Howell 8MM movie projector Model 254R is in near excellent condition*. All functions work. This wonderful piece of craftsman ship is still in working condition. Manufactured circa 1957. Sorry no instruction book. This model was also known as the "Monterey" model is great for showing 8mm family movies, or filming your own conversion to DVDs. I would hate to see it used for parts ,as the previous owners took very good care of and it does project movies as good as the day it was purchased. These vintage cameras also make excellent display pieces showcasing it's high polished steel sprockets and "Filmovara Lens" ( basically a zoom lens allowing you to fill the screen without having to move the projector). And the gear driven reel arms are an advantage to replacing all those worn stretched out, worn out, hard to find belts.
