    Description

The creamer has an art nouveau floral design raised from the surface and was made by the Adelphi Silver Plate Company of New York. Adelphi manufactured silver items from 1890 to 1915.
MEASUREMENTS: The creamer is about 4 1/2” tall and 5” handle to spout.
The circular maker’s mark on the bottom reads “ADELPHI SILVER PLATE CO.” with QUADRUPLE PLATE NEW YORK” around it.
CONDITION: Good antique condition, especially considering the age. There is a small bend on the lip of the teapot. There are no major flaws but do expect to find some age-appropriate wear from use over the years.
I am not sure how well it would
    polish,
and I would encourage you to preserve the
    beautiful, aged
patina. Do review all the photos because they are the best description.
NOTE: Quadruple plated silver was produced during the Victorian era and is highly ornamental with elegant engraving and floral styling.
It was a manufacturing method in the mid to late 1800s.
Quadruple plate does not mean item was plated 4 times; means it was plated with 4 times as much pure silver.
Items that are quadruple plate silver have 4 times the amount of silver coating than silver plate items.
