Our items are mostly Victorian and are not new and there may be imperfections due to the age of the item which we try to show in the pictures. Our items are all used, mostly Victorian and a few vintage. They have defects. Not the first item we sell is perfect. Up for auction is a silver plate embossed or repousse cream pitcher, covered sugar and waste pot by Reed and Barton in the Chrysanthemum design. The set is lovely featuring tall stately floral feet and bands of flowers around the upper rim and base. The finial on the covered sugar is in the form of a large bouquet of flowers. Each of the 3 pieces have a monogram but I cant make them out. The set may have been re-silvered at one time which would explain why the monograms are not clear. The waste pot stands about 6 inches tall, the creamer stands 7.25 inches tall and the covered sugar stands about 9.5 inches tall. There is a pencil point size dimple on one side of the covered sugar and small areas of black marks on each piece as shown in the pictures. We will supply additional information and pictures if the buyer requests such. We do not believe in Buyers or Sellers Remorse. If we sell an item for less than worth we will still ship as part of our agreement but if you purchase an item we expect you to live up to your part of the bargain. Please ask questions. We will gladly answer.
