    Description

New Lead free Tectite 1/2 inch slip coupling in original package, complete with removal tool and liners if converting to PEX tubing.
The 1/2 in. Tectite by Apollo Push-To-Connect Slip Repair Coupling is an innovation designed to make a quick repair to rigid Copper. The slip capability allows a section (up to 2 in.) of pipe to be cut out allowing for the easy installation of the fitting where rigid pipes do not allow movement. Simply insert the slip coupling on to the pipe and using the Tectite by Apollo demount clip (included) to slip the fitting back onto the other end of pipe completing the connection. Great for emergencies and freeze repairs, the Tectite Push-To-Connect Slip Repair Coupling is the fastest, cleanest and simplest way to repair copper and CPVC pipe without the use of tools, solder, open flame or glue. Fitting removal and reuse is just as simple using a simple demount clip (included). After assembly, fitting may be rotated for simpler installation in tight spaces. All Tectite by Apollo fittings are approved for use in both potable water and hydronic heating piping systems. Constructed of lead free dezincification resistant (DZR) brass for superior reliability
