Tamiya ADSPEC G 301-FM 3 Channel Radio System Brand New

Description

For sale is a brand new Tamiya ADSPEC series FM radio system.  This system is brand new and was originally produced in 1994 for Tamiya's line of glow engine RC cars (because they needed the third channel).  However, it is compatible with their line of electric RC vehicles as well.  This unit features the ability to control 3 channels or 3 servos (Futaba plugs). Fully compatible with ESCs as well. It is also FM (Frequency Modulation) based, which back then was considered a significant upgrade from AM (Amplitude Modulation) because it was less prone to interference.  3rd channel can be disabled if not needed.
This unit comes with everything as it was when it was brand new including all the required instructions and accessories.  Because it's an authentic Tamiya product, you can expect the highest quality in manufacturing.  I actually suspect this was manufactured under license from Futaba because a lot of Tamiya's radio gear was made by Futaba.  Plus the servos kinda share a similar model number to the Futaba S148 servos from that period.
This radio system was eye wateringly expensive when it was new.  I believe I paid over 0.00 for this in the mid 90s which would have been the equivalent of 0 today. I had planned to use it with a Tamiya touring vehicle but never did.  It's sat in storage since.  I've never taken the unit out.  This is perfect for the Tamiya collector looking to install an era-correct authentic Tamiya radio system into their Tamiya vehicle.
