78 year old owner is considering retiring from an established RV Rental business.
My wife and I have what is now known as Affordable RV Rental, affordablervrentalllc.com I am not a genius, just about any hard working guy could do what I have done, but we did it! I am 78 years young, I have always been into vehicles and have liked this nitch business, but do not want to spend the rest of our lives doing nothing but cleaning, fixing and teaching Motorhomes to people and though it makes good money, it is time to think about selling my well established RV Rental business. At the moment I am down to 3-Motorhomes, I had 5 earlier this year, if I were not tired, mostly of being tied down, the business' demand would support many, many more: Other things such as travel trailers could be added to the fleet. The Motorhomes I can easily sell on the open market, but over the years we have developed a good name and following, My phone constantly rings, my e-mail and text messages never stop, I would like to get paid for that income stream of between k-k per year, per Motorhome. You would need to be able to get the $ to buy some (at least 3) Motorhomes, I don't want to squabble over the value of mine, so would prefer they were someone else's, but you could buy mine. I am not looking for a forever partner, I have had 3 failed partnerships, with other business'; it must be me.
But,
I do have an idea for a no way for either of us to get hurt way for you to pay for the income stream / Business.
If you want to have a minimum of 3 rental Motorhomes, I have here a deal that nobody can get hurt on and it gives all of us an UP Side!
For 2 years I will answer the phone, book reservations, collect $, help with problems and pay you 1/2 $ collected after the 6.75% Sales Tax. If you get the rental then you would pay me the same 1/2.
You would start using the name immediately. at the end of 2 years you get ownership of the Telephone #, Website affordablervrentalllc.com and all past customer list records.
I believe you would be best off to create a fresh Company ie: Affordable RV Rental of ....
Currently I am down to 3 Motorhomes (All 31'ers)

You can purchase them or not for k each = 5,000 (No financing from me)
You would be responsible for the motorhomes and ALL related expenses. Insurance, repairs, Office, Shop as well as Instructing the renters.
I am hoping you will have money / credit for and want to have way more than 3 rental motorhomes.
If I cheat, you will break away: If you cheat or quit, I am back in business with no motorhomes and having given away 1/2 the $ for that period of time. (Not in either or our best interests or what either of us are doing this for.)
OR
,000 for everything Name, Records, Telephone #, Website plus 5,000 for my motorhomes if you want them. I would help some, but not as much as with the first deal.
