Rare Vintage US Air Force Viewlex Film Strip-Slide Projector w/ Case

Description

This vintage projector model AP-1A was manufactured by Viewlex for the United States Air Force under a government contract, identified as number AF33(600)32856. This functional projector, which was eventually used by the Georgia Forestry Commission, includes the majority of the original materials, including : case, slide tray boxes/carriers, Eagle Chemical Co. static dehumidifying bags, 500 W lamp, strip film mechanism, manual slide changer, film spool hold down, and a bottom plate safety fan guard. When entirely enclosed in the carrying case, this collectible piece of US history weighs 30 pounds, stands 11 1/5" high, and measures 18" wide and 11 1/2" deep.
