Description
MOTTAHEDEH Birdsong SalmonSalad dessert plate
Approx 7 5/8 inches in diameter
From the Mottahedeh site...."This embossed design features raised cartouches showing birds in country landscapes. These are accented with gold filagree and interspersed between fields of salmon. This pattern is derived from the Old World style of German landscape painting. Birdsong's Rococo shapes were created by the Fuerstenburg Porcelain Factory of Germany in 1747 for Duke Carl I of Brunswick, the founder. For this updated version, Mottadeheh followed the duke's theme of creating country scenes, and used the same factory."
NWOT, never used, Gorgeous!!!! (sticky residue remains from original tag on underside of plate, faintly visible in picture)
