Simply Beautiful!!! Seldom Seen Vintage Mottahedeh Antique Reproduction, Italian Faience, Mythical Golden Unicorn Figurine. A Large Piece, measuring 19" in length, 8" in width, and 16" to the top of the Horn. All except for the Horn is Porcelain. The Horn looks like it is made of some type of metal or maybe metal over the Porcelain, it is hard to be certain. It is marked on the underside with 'Made in Italy'. Originally it would have one of the round 'Mottahedeh Italy' stickers. It has fallen off somewhere along the way. It is in overall Excellent Vintage Condition. I did see some tiny paint rubs on the ears. Everything else looks great or so I thought. As I was getting ready to list, my five-year-old granddaughter told me that there was something going on with the Horn. I can see some crazing (as would be expected on an older piece, like this one) and On close examination, it looks like there may have been some type of repair although I can't tell how it was done, I can see a tiny drop of glue. The piece Displays very nicely. I have shown lots of photos of all. Please ask any questions before purchasing. Will be Carefully packed by an Expert Packer, using lots of packing materials and will Ship in an Oversized box for Safe Shipment and must ship Fully Insured with Signature Tracking. Simply Beautiful!!! Seldom Seen Vintage Mottahedeh Antique Reproduction, Italian Faience, Mythical Golden Unicorn Figurine. There were several Unicorns available from Mottahedeh. This is the Oldest and Largest one that they made. The last one that sold on eBay sold for 5.00 and had a similar horn.
A Large Piece, measuring 19" in length, 8" in width, and 16" to the top of the Horn.
