from Mottahedeh of Italy
This piece was made as a subtle oval dish with a ribbed shape and a yellow bird design, most likely a Canary.
It dates to the 1970’s.
There were no other pieces in this bird design and it was not a part of a multi-scene set.
Mottahedeh was known for producing tableware and decorative pieces. They not only made mass produced pieces, they made specific lines and patterns for certain retailers as specialty items.
