MDF Speaker adapter rings 16,5cm for Honda Accord, Civic, Crosstour, CR-V, Cr-Z Insight
The sturdy MDF (medium density fibreboard) speaker rings are ideal for professional installation of high-quality speakers in your vehicle. They are an excellent alternative to often unstable plastic adapters, with which loudspeakers can never play their full potential. Because massive mounting surfaces are one of the decisive reasons for clean sound, even at high levels.
Due to their high inherent stiffness, they reduce any unwanted movement (vibration, oscillation, etc.) of the loudspeaker basket right from the start and, due to their large contact surface, also provide additional stabilization of the door panel on which they are mounted.
The rings are impregnated for additional protection against moisture. Due to the black colouring, they are almost invisible in the finished installation. The MDF rings thus offer a very good price/performance ratio between the expensive vehicle-specific steel or aluminium rings and the level of plastic rings.
Before the entire installation, you must drill holes in the speaker rings yourself. Make sure you use the correct twist drill.
For a perfect sound in the vehicle, we recommend in addition to the MDF rings a large-area insulation of the door and the door lining - e.g. with the high-quality Roadkill insulation material from Stinger.
