Longchamp France 2 Pc Casserole w/ Lid TULIP Handpainted Ceramic Faience

Description

This two piece serving dish and lid is in the classic Longchamp Faience Tulip pattern, hand-painted with leafy stems bearing large, maroon-red tulips and colorful multiflorals and highlighted with green trim. The bottom is labeled with the Longchamp France trademark and the "Peint a la main" (i.e., hand-painted) designation. It measures 10 1/2" wide tip-to-tip and 8" diameter. Overall height is 7 1/2". The colors are bright and the details are distinct. Condition is amazing, other than the surface crazing common to this type of pottery. No chips, cracks or repairs. This will be carefully packed and shipped via USPS, or free local pickup outside Washington DC.
