Large Vintage Pressure Cooker/Canner - Cast Aluminum - age unknown - AS IS.
Estate find, imperfect, needs some cleaning, and there is minor cosmetic damage, but this thing is BIG, and solid.
Text on the top reads:
NATIONAL
MFD BY N.W.S. & I WKS EAU CLAIRE WIS U.S.A.
By my own calculation, capacity is 18 quarts.
Outer dimensions are about 14" diameter x 15" tall (including gauge).
Interior dimensions are about 11.5" diameter x 10.5" tall (without lid).
Weighs about 16 lbs.
Item has not been tested.
Some damage to the knobs on top (see pics) but this should not have any effect on the function of this item.
There is no gasket included with this item.
There is a perforated aluminum disc that sits inside the bottom of the canister, included.
The wing nuts are gorgeous.
