Goldberg Bros. 35mm Movie Theater “House Reel” (NR)

You are bidding on a
Goldberg Bros. 35mm aluminum House Reel
which came out of an old movie theater in the Findlay, Ohio area.
When movie theaters were still projecting 35mm film, the projectionists would transfer film from the reels it was shipped on (“exchange reels”) to nice aluminum “house reels” like this one to use in their projectors.
Later, when it came time to ship the film back, it would be transferred back to the exchange reels.
This 35mm house reel comes from a non-smoking household.
It measures 14” in diameter and appears to be of an earlier design than many of the Goldberg house reels that turn up on eBay.
There is a small hair-line crack on one side near the hub, but other than that, it appears to be in good condition for its age and should display well.

It will be shipped via USPS retail ground in a box weighing 6 pounds and measuring 15” x 15” x 3.5.”
