    This footed creamer was made by F. B. Rogers Silver Company. On the bottom of the piece is a crown with the founding date of the company, "1883", the name of the company, and the pattern number "1083." The creamer is surprisingly heavy for its size. The opening is 2.5 inches and the distance from tip of handle to tip of spout is 5 inches. When not serving as a creamer, this piece makes a charming container for a mid-sized flower with stem cut short. We like to use several silver plate containers of differing heights for a centerpiece. The piece is in excellent condition.
