    – first issue of Pope Francis
    Vatican City puts out its own postage stamps, and they do special issue stamps when the pope passes away or resigns.
    There is also then, a special issue for the new pope.
    I purchased these stamps in Vatican City, the day that Francis officially became the new pope.
    (I was in Vatican City with a choir from Chicago, to sing with the Vatican choir, on their 500

    anniversary.
    After the service, we all went into the square, and saw and heard Pope Francis speak for the first time!
    It was incredible, being surrounded by people from all over the world, in silence, listening to him speak!)
    It is brand new, and has been kept in a larger envelope – only taken out to take a picture for the Ebay listing.
