Description

For auction is a beautiful antique faience floral shallow bowl or plate with scalloped edges.
Made in Stasbourgh, France, ca 1700's by Hannong Pottery Factory. The piece features a bouquet of flowers, including an incredibly detailed pink-hued peony.
Tin glazed earthenware painted with enamels. Blue underglaze mark for Joseph Hannong and GOE (?), as shown in photos.
The piece measures 9 3/8" in diameter and stands approximately 1 1/2" tall.
It has been extensively repaired, as shown in the photos, but has not been reglazed or repainted.
