AUDISCAN I SOUND FILMSTRIP PROJECTOR Vintage Slide Film Tape Cartridge 1970's

Here is a very rare Audiscan I sound slide TV style projector with a built in screen. Includes ultra rare slip on plastic dust cover. These projectors were mostly used by industrial businesses for staff training. Circa mid 1970's manufacture in Bellevue Washington. You can search on YouTube for a film tape combo for one of these projectors if you want to better understand this format. Slide a cartridge in back (no cartridges included) and a tape similar to an 8 track plays audio while the filmstrip advances automatically all integral to one cartridge. I am not sure what size the film loop is...probably super 8 or 16MM size. Great design. Viewing screen measures aprox 8 1/4" diagonal. Unit has general wear. Nothing too bad...please view pictures. This unit is untested except for power up. Fan powers on and advance motion can be heard when pushing button in back. Fan sounds a little noisy...probably needs lube. Screen did not light however film may need to be inserted first before it lights...or it may need a bulb. Retractable AC electric cord. Strong metal construction. Unit is heavy. Screen is nice though one corner needs to be reinserted into a support bracket. I did not want to take it apart...leave that for the new owner. With a little cleaning, lube and maybe a bulb...this unit might work. There are other Audiscan projectors listed...however no other Audiscan I at the time of this listing. Sold completely as is with potential need of restoration and cleaning.
