    Here is a very attractive vintage French faience pottery plate with hand-painted fireside scene. Plates measures about 9 7/8" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks except for a small glaze flake on underside edge (see photo). There is a small linear indent to outside edge, about 1/4" long and done in the making. There are a very few very light surface marks visible only on very close examination. There are glaze bumps, skips and sagger marks on back side, all done in the making. There are nine tiny sagger marks on top side in decorated scene area, done in the making. Please see photos.
