    Description

    From a large brocante in the 14th arrondissement of Paris.
    Antique French clay wine vessel from the 1880s-1900. Deep emerald green glossy glaze over rustic terracotta clay. Two rustic handles flank the thick neck opening, which was likely corked at one point. Very heavy construction.
    In very good antique condition showing age appropriate wear and evidence of daily use over decades. Structurally sound, no through cracks. Neck shows old chipping and nicks, glaze is worn through on several areas of the body, but remarkably largely intact throughout. Please review all photos for an accurate depiction of condition.
