Description
From an extensive family collection and offered for your own collection,a lovely 5" stippled designed silver plate coffee or tea creamer.
The provenance, or history of this particular family piece:
It was brought to America by my great grandparents in 1912,
and is presumed to be from the late 1890's.
J P Kayser & Son of Krefeld-Bochum, near Düsseldorf, Germany,
were originally Leuconide Metalware Factory,
(Leuconide Metallwarenfabrik),
founded around 1885.
This lovely creamer has a wide pouring spout,
a center medallion for engraving,
and is unpolished with original patina.
Measures about 5" up to the spout.
Bottom is marked:
80 (quad silverplating)
