Antique 19th C Blue Spatterware Ironstone Red Rose Sugar Bowl no Lid

Description

Up for auction is a mid 19th century hand painted blue spatterware rose pattern sugar bowl base recently found at auction in Lancaster county PA.  It is offered as found.  Large spider losses at bottom but interior better.  Thick walled seems ironstone base or mochaware.  Other age cracks along foot.  Kiln kisses.  Glaze glitches.  Nice white neck.  Red rose, black stem, green leaves.  Would have had a lid approx 3.5".  Base diameter approx 3.5". Approx 4" tall.  Best guess English.  Very decorative.  Unsigned unmarked.
