More stable and safer PCIe risers - PCIE Riser 009S, including four striking filter capacitors, together with a DC-DC Converter IC, a 100 or 150 μH inductor, plus a MOSFET, constitute a buck and voltage stabilizing circuit, which converts 12V DC input to 3.3V DC output to achieve a more stable working voltage for the graphics card for your Bitcoin Mining.

3. PCIE signal need 3.3V voltage for GPUs and other IO device. The PCIE riser adapter will pick up 12V power from a power supply by packed 6PIN to SATA power cable. Two step voltage conversion is to extend pcie riser working life.
Firstly, the on-board voltage coversion chip will pick up 12V power from PSU and convert to 5V.
Secondly, then we designed the voltage control circuit,adjust the 5V voltage to 3.3V and get the 3.3V target voltage. In this way the PCIE riser will consume little power.
