    The First National Bank of Staunton, Illinois, issued this Santa paper die-cut ornament as part of their Christmas Club promotion. The maximum FDIC insurance then, as indicated on the back of the ornament, was ,000 -- making this circa 1966.
    Excellent +, unused condition. Measures six-inches in length. Marked (C) C.C.N.Y. Litho in U.S.A. The first one I've seen.
    First National Bank (FNB) of Staunton, IL, is now defunct, having officially merged with Associated Bank of Green Bay, Wisconsin, in early 2020.
