    Description

Rather rare 1955-56 ROMAN SLIDE viewer/projector, NEW Z, SAMOCA CAMERA CO. LTD (JAPAN). This is from an estate sale so I know of no real history. Cool stamps inside the cover, PFC Istvan Herman ( Herman Istvan?) 1st Cav. Div. perhaps sent this back from Korea after Korean war? The 2nd stamp of his with the Devil head says Air Mail From Korea and the word Devil on it. See pictures of stamps inside cover.
Projector is 110V, bulb is good and one picture shows it powered on. The cord was frayed where it entered the case and bare copper was showing. I disassembled the unit, cut couple inches off the power cord and re-soldered the connections to the bulb holder and base. It is good to go now. I wanted to not put a modern cord on it as the rest of the cord is fine.
You get the viewer, the shiny 2X slide holder, a light green sleeve that stores the slide holder and a white small piece of material which I am not sure of its function. There may be a cover over the bulb missing, since I am not sure they would have had light coming out the top of the unit?
Selling as is with no return or refunds, please.
