This 1828 Classic Head Half Cent is the "13 Stars" Variety for this date. It grades Choice Unc. MS+. It is a very attractive coin with some nice traces of Mint Red still showing. The surfaces are quite nice with no problem marks or hits. There is one little old toned over depression on the cheek of LIBERTY that is noted for accuracy, but this is very minor. The coin is very sharply struck and there are no spots or corrosion or anything like that. Just a great coin with a very appealing look! It is a very desirable early Half Cent. This coin would make a welcome addition to a high grade set. I have included a greatly enlarged high resolution digital photo for you to evaluate for yourself.
