1809 C-2 R-3 PCGS AU 55 Classic Head Half Cent Coin 1/2c

Description

PCGS authenticated and graded AU 55. Choice chocolate brown with lighter tan highlights and a couple small carbon spots on the obverse at the lower bust tip and right of star 1. There's a bit of old crud around stars 4-5, but no other notable marks or detractions. There is a delicate die break at stars 2-4, and some fused dentils between UNITED and STATES. Attractive surfaces and toning, CC level.
